The King Lobengula Foundation is at the forefront of Protecting and the Preservation of our Natural Environment and Heritage Areas of importance in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. The month of September is also a 'Tree planting season' in South Africa, hence during the 24 of September 2019 Heritage Day, the Foundation along with the Community will be planting trees along the 1,5km Lobengula Township Tour Trail of Fingo Village. The participation of Rhodes University Students would play a pivotal role in identifying and discovering of certain historical defects found in these Areas as we proceed forth with #HeritageResourcesRegeneration_CleanUp Campaign aligned with the objectives of Racial Reconciliation and Cultural Cohesion in the African Continent.
